BACC63BR connectors are proprietary Mil-C-87323 Series III plugs similar to M83723/95 and M83723/96. They offer a major performance advantage by using a unique threaded coupling that features greater resistance to decoupling than to coupling. Using Mil Spec design concepts, BACC63BR are designed for the higher temperature performance requirements in today's aircrafts and aircrafts engines. They are capable of temperatures up to 220°C. Newer design BACC63CM connectors are very similar with a higher temperature rating of 260<°C. Boeing has recommended to use BACC63CM as a ONE-WAY-FORWARD interchangeable replacement to BACC63BR after being reviewed on case-by-case basis.
